In today's piece, Triple Z will analyze WrestleMania win/loss records for various superstars ahead of WrestleMania 33. Everybody knows about Undertaker's WrestleMania record but what about the rest? Which Superstars have great WrestleMania records and which ones do not? Let's begin! KEY: BOLD means "Win", Italicized means "Loss." Brock Lesnar (3-3)VS Kurt Angle (WrestleMania XIX) VS Goldberg (WrestleMania XX) VS Triple H (WrestleMania 29) VS The Undertaker (WrestleMania XXX) VS Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 31) VS Dean Ambrose (WrestleMania 32) Well this is interesting. The time gap adds another interesting point. What if Lesnar never leaves the WWE? How many more classic matches would he have had? Brock Lesnar will go down as the man who defeated "The Streak." It's a questionable decision. The decision has damaged Undertaker's legacy. If "The Streak" didn't end at WrestleMania XXX. The Undertaker would've been retired by now. So Brock gets the accomplishment of tarnishing a powerful WrestleMania tradition. It's fascinating to see Triple H doesn't let the big time stars beat him at WrestleMania. It will be very interesting to see if he actually puts Seth Rollins over. This also brings us to another fascinating point in this data. Lesnar has faced off with all three members of The Shield. So the "Beast Incarnate" is 3-3 at WrestleMania. He could of been 2-4 if The Rock/Brock plans got the go-ahead. This data can also hint at the possibilities for Lesnar this year. Yes I know, WWE probably doesn't look at the data. Lesnar winning is more of possibility just to keep him over .500. Especially after his snoozer of a match with Dean Ambrose. John Cena (9-3)VS Big Show (WrestleMania XX) VS JBL (WrestleMania 21) VS Triple H (WrestleMania 22) VS Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 23) VS Randy Orton and Triple H (WrestleMania 24) VS Edge and Big Show (WrestleMania 25) VS Batista (WrestleMania 26) VS The Miz (WrestleMania 27) VS The Rock (WrestleMania 28) VS The Rock (WrestleMania 29) VS Bray Wyatt (WrestleMania 30) VS Rusev (WrestleMania 31) They call him "Super Cena" for a reason. 9-3 at the grandest stage of them all. Only losing to Randy Orton, Triple H, The Miz, and The Rock. Can John Cena repeat his success? It all depends on the matchup. This year at WrestleMania 33 he has the opportunity to avenge his loss to Randy Orton (who ironically won the Royal Rumble also) or he could avenge his loss to The Miz. Cena could end up improving his record to 10-3. Even if he loses at this years event he will still be 9-4. That's better then most. Cena has also defeated two rising stars at his last two WrestleMania's. He was injured during WrestleMania 32. Triple H (9-11)VS Ultimate Warrior (WrestleMania XII) VS Goldust (WrestleMania 13) VS Owen Hart (WrestleMania XIV) VS Kane (WrestleMania XV)*By DQ VS The Rock (with Mr. McMahon), Big Show (with Shane McMahon), Mick Foley (with Linda McMahon) (WrestleMania 2000) VS The Undertaker (WrestleMania X-Seven) VS Chris Jericho (WrestleMania X8) VS Booker T (WrestleMania XIX) VS Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania XX) VS Batista (WrestleMania 21) VS John Cena (WrestleMania 22) VS John Cena and Randy Orton (WrestleMania 24) VS Randy Orton (WrestleMania 25) VS Sheamus (WrestleMania XXVI) VS The Undertaker (WrestleMania 27) VS The Undertaker (WrestleMania 28) VS Brock Lesnar (WrestleMania 29) VS Daniel Bryan (WrestleMania 30) VS Sting (WrestleMania 31) VS Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 32) Who would of ever though that Triple H would be under .500? Triple H's WrestleMania record isn't as glorious as many thought. Triple H has lost to The Undertaker at WrestleMania three times. From WrestleMania XX to WrestleMania 24, The Game didn't pick up a single win. Triple H was absent from WrestleMania 23. In Triple H's last four WrestleMania's he is 2-2. Picking up wins against Brock Lesnar and Sting but dropping to Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns. Can Triple H get win number 10 this year or will his record continue to grow uneven. Chris Jericho (5-7)VS Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle (WrestleMania 2000) VS William Regal (WrestleMania X-Seven) VS Triple H (WrestleMania X8) VS Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania XIX) VS Christian (WrestleMania XX) VS Money in the Bank (WrestleMania 21) VS Money in the Bank (WrestleMania 24) VS Ricky Steamboat, Roddy Piper, and Jimmy Snuka (WrestleMania 25) VS Edge (WrestleMania XXVI) VS CM Punk (WrestleMania 28) VS Fandango (WrestleMania 29) VS AJ Styles (WrestleMania 32) Due to Chris Jericho's on again/ off again schedule. He has a strange WrestleMania timeline and record. The Money in the Bank match is not a good match for Jericho. Even though he was the one that created the match he has never won it. Jericho has lost to everyone from Shawn Michaels to CM Punk to Fandango at Mania. Last year his win over AJ Styles was a big one. If he ends up facing Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 33, will he walk out with a win? It's more than likely. From just looking at his past record. Jericho wins in pairs. Also if the match is for the championship he will become the favorite. Jericho has had a super year after his recent renovation, and with the creation of "The List" he deserves one last title run. It doesn't even have to be his last. Randy Orton (5-7)VS Rock 'N' Sock Connection (WrestleMania XX) VS The Undertaker (WrestleMania 21) VS Rey Mysterio and Kurt Angle (WrestleMania 22) VS Money in the Bank (WrestleMania 23) VS John Cena and Triple H (WrestleMania 24) VS Triple H (WrestleMania 25) VS Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase (WrestleMania XXVI) VS CM Punk (WrestleMania 27) VS Kane (WrestleMania 28) VS The Shield (WrestleMania 29) VS Daniel Bryan and Batista (WrestleMania XXX) VS Seth Rollins (WrestleMania 31) Well look at what we have here! Chris Jericho and Randy Orton have the same record at WrestleMania. Kane wins in big matches at WrestleMania. Orton is 2-2 in triple threat matches at WrestleMania. Orton is this years winner of the Royal Rumble so he has a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. His rumored opponents are Bray Wyatt (0-2) and John Cena (9-3). Either match up will be difficult for Randy Orton. One opponent is still young and has potential. Yet Bray Wyatt still hasn't made it over the top. John Cena on the other hand is unstoppable. If Orton ends up facing either opponent he might take another "L" at WrestleMania. There have been two separate times in Orton's career where he went on a WrestleMania drought losing three in a row (WM 21,22,23 and WM 28,29,30). Orton has main evented WrestleMania three times. The Miz ( 4-5)VS Kane (Battle Royal at WrestleMania 24) VS The Colóns (WrestleMania 25) VS John Morrison and R-Truth (WrestleMania XXVI) VS John Cena (WrestleMania 27) VS Team Teddy (WrestleMania 28) VS Wade Barrett (WrestleMania 29) VS Andre the Giant Battle Royal (WrestleMania XX) VS Andre the Giant Battle Royal (WrestleMania 31) VS IC TItle Match (WrestleMania 32) The Miz has had an odd WWE career. Let alone his WrestleMania career! The Miz is 0-3 in Battle Royals. He is 2-1 in tag matches. He won four 'Mania matches in a row between 26 to 29. What is more bizarre? The Miz before the main event of WrestleMania 27 or after WrestleMania 27? How do you go from beating John Morrison and R-Truth to facing John Cena in the Georgia Dome? How do you go from the main event of WrestleMania to a mixed tag match the very next year? Followed by unmemorable moments. Maryse might have just saved The Miz his career. The Miz is a talented dude but he wasn't given the same opportunities prior to having Maryse as his manager. Now that he has Maryse the sky is the limit. His record is truly befuddling more multiple reasons. WrestleMania 33 might be the year his record goes 5-5. Thanks in large part due to SmackDown Live.
