Triple Z discusses how WWE should do Pay Per Views after the Brand Split and why they should ditch the old ways. WWE Wants Two PPV's A Month… Some Say "Yay" and Some Say "Nay"On Wednesday like most days I go on Twitter. On my Twitter timeline I saw a flurry of tweets about WWE's leaked schedule. This leak schedule had RAW and SmackDown PPV's. It also had WWE resurrecting cherished events like Backlash, No Mercy, and Clash of Champions. Well this sounds wonderful right? Right? No it actually doesn't sound appeasing at all. Clash of Champions was a major event back in the day because it was super card for Jim Crockett Promotions, NWA, and WCW. WWE using this idea would be interesting, as a brand clash maybe? I'm against having brand separate PPV's. Maybe my thought process will change after the draft but I don't want to just see a whole card of "SmackDown" guys. Two PPV's a month makes the whole concept of a PPV seem worthless. You could call it SmackDown on Sunday or Sunday Night RAW. No Mercy and Backlash also weren't anything "special" and the only reason why they were special is because of the names and sets. WWE doesn't obviously do sets anymore so what's the point? 24 PPV's a year is crazy. As a person who rarely gets to write for his own website when WWE has the average 12 PPV's. It's hard enough doing PPV predictions and analysis for the 12. WWE obviously only sees cash in this situation. The product itself is going to plummet. The writing is already bad and lacks any creativity. I'm not a fan of having each brand showcase a PPV. It almost makes the brands feel like separate promotions. I'm all for a brand split and having a purpose to watch both shows. Why can't you just hold a PPV with both brands for each month. It's not like WWE will have a problem creating a card. Both brands are competing under the WWE banner so why not use it. Also the PPV's could be a good place to see talents switch brands. Also if you so desperately want to hold a SmackDown or RAW exclusive event just have a "Network Exclusive" and that would be the way to solve that problem. I don't want to see drastic changes during the brand split for a couple reasons.
WWE Should Do PPV's Like This After The Brand SplitHere would be my PPV schedule.
I try to eliminate the "gimmick" PPV the best I can. I think that schedule would do the roster more favors. Also is it really a special event when it happens so often? WWE hasn't been on a roll lately with PPV's. NXT has been the opposite they have been on a roll. WWE will do what's best for business and do two PPV's a month. I personally disagree with the philosophy of doing that many PPV's in a year. If WWE wants to build interest and legit excitement again then they would keep doing what they are doing. They will do the draft and keep the PPV's the same. The ideas of having RAW and SmackDown PPV's again is just bad. Who wants to deal with kickoff show undercards for each event? Like I always say on ZWrestleTalk… It doesn't matter what WWE does we will still watch Monday night. Follow @TripleZ_87 @ZWrestleTalk

WWE Writer Dom Bouchard grades Money in the Bank New Day vs Enzo and Cass vs Vaudevillains vs The ClubWhat a great way to kick things off. Enzo is golden on the microphone and also The New Day is. It was a very exciting and sometimes botched match but to me I prefer it that way. Seems more real… Big Cass is real strong and Big E is a beast. The New Day retained but every team looked great! Grade B+ Baron Corbin vs Dolph Ziggler Solid match between the two as one one would expect after the number of times they faced each other.Corbin looked crisp and quick. It was the best match they've had thus far. Ziggler looked more motivated and Corbin caught Ziggler. Very solid match right here. Grade B Natalya and Becky Lynch VS Charlotte and Dana BrookeGood back and forth match.Becky was on fire in this match. Charlotte pinned Natalya and that led to Natalya attacking Becky Lynch. Grade C Sheamus VS Apollo CrewsI am a huge Sheamus fan. He is a very talented big guy. Apollo had his work cut out for him. He fought from underneath and it made Sheamus look strong and it made Crews look like a never give up guy. Impressive moonsault outside the ring by Crews. White noise didn't beat Crews. He rolled up Sheamus for the upset. Biggest win of his career! Grade B- AJ Styles VS John CenaBig fight feel for this one! Cena gets a reaction like no one else. He is still the man! Crowd was on fire even with a slow start. I don't recall feeling this excited for a match in awhile. AJ was extremely aggressive in the early stages of the match. Cena looked a little sluggish but it is normal after such a long absence. Stylesclash 1 2 kick out.The Club interfered and Styles won round 1 of what promises to be an epic feud! Grade A - Money in the BankWhat else did you expect with these six absolutely amazing performers? Sami can fly and it was Canonball City vs Uppercut City. Cesaro delivered a wonderful flying uppercut from the ladder to the ropes.Cesaro swings Y2J off the ladder.Damn I love this match and it had insane spots after insane spots. Sami almost broke Owen's back on the ladder. Awesome match.Dean Ambrose got the briefcase finally. Grade A Titus O'Neil VS RusevA very hard double clothesline on the outside. Rusev is a brute and Titus tried hard but he was overwhelmed by Rusev's strength. Grade C Roman Reigns VS Seth Rollins"The Man vs The Guy" This should be a classic .Seth is better than ever. Seth's new gear is awesome. Big match feel. Those you can't wrestle chants are ridiculous. Slow start but Roman looks pissed off. Roman working like a dominant heel and Seth like an underdog face. Back and forth. Really hope for a double turn. Seth is on fire and Reigns is on a roll too. It's absolute war and Rollins hits the pedigree. 1 2 3 new champ Seth Rollins! Wait here comes the "Lunatic Fringe" Dean Ambrose cashing in and a Dirty Deeds. New WWE Champion Dean Ambrose.
Grade A+++ Follow @domghosthunter @TripleZ_87 and @ZWrestleTalk Triple Z gives his take on what SmackDown and RAW need in the upcoming brand split. Previously on ZWrestleTalk, Dom Bouchard wrote an article about how he would do the WWE Brand Split. This is my own version. I want to cover some facts of how I would handle the upcoming brand split. There is a rumor circulating about WWE increasing to two PPV's a month. That would be horrid. The average fan can't always watch a PPV and to increase the chances to miss two PPV's a month is rough. I wouldn't do the "split" PPV's I think that concept is dull. Just keep RAW and SmackDown on the same PPV's. They need to keep the regular amount of PPVs because "Network Specials" will be coming into play real soon. You also want PPV's to feel special not like an extension of a RAW or SmackDown. WWE wants to different unique rosters for RAW and SmackDown this is how I would do it. This is how "my draft" will work. 2 NXT Wrestlers will get drafted (including women) RAW will exclusively have the Cruiserweight Championship and the United States Championship. SmackDown will have the Intercontinental Championship, Hardcore Championship exclusively. Both brands will share the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, WWE Women's Championship, and WWE Tag Team Championships. Undertaker and Brock Lesnar will be able to appear on both brands. Divas will be divided. WWE RAW's RosterI would keep RAW with its normal parameters: It will be live and air at 8, It will be three hours, and it will be the flagship show. I would have Shane McMahon be GM of RAW. Here is my roster.
SmackDown's RosterSmackDown would need some changes. SmackDown's time slot on USA should be Tuesdays at 8PM eastern. The show should stay at two hours. The focus would be only on SmackDown nothing would be mentioned about RAW. Unless there was a storyline. SmackDown would build a Hardcore division to make it unique from RAW's Cruiserweight division.

Follow @TripleZ_87 on Twitter. ZWrestleTalk's WWE Writer Dom Bouchard lists his top ten most underrated WWE superstars of all time. 10. DemolitionDemolition was a tremendously entertaining and tough tag team in the golden days of the tag team era. They had three championship reigns and were a dominant tag team. Their feuds with the Hart Foundation and the Rockers were amazing. Towards the end when they brought Crush it kinda fell apart but they had been dominating for about three years. Both guys were also good on the stick and great guys too.Hall of Fame bound for sure. "Here comes the Ax and here comes the Smasher." 9. "Ravishing" Rick RudeWell for starters he had four star matches with the Ultimate Warrior. This incredibly tough and talented wrestler should have had a WWE World Title run. He was a main event player and made everyone who worked with him look great. What more can you ask for? Rick Rude is also Hall of Fame bound. 8. Booker T A very entertaining and talented performer. He transitioned very well from WCW and was a upper mid carder for a while and had a main event run as champ. He always delivered and who didn't love the spinaroonie. 7. Rougeau Brothers They were a really good tag team and had tremendous matches against everyone from the British Bulldogs to the Hart Foundation. They were also really good at getting heat. Once paired with Jimmy Hart they were really over. 6. HerculesHercules was in WWE for almost a decade despite not being utilized. He stayed on the upper mid card for about seven years. Hercules was a solid big man and he sold well, and he put on great matches with the likes of Haku and Hogan! 5. Shelton BenjaminShelton Benjamin was in "Dolph Ziggler's" position ten years ago. Benjamin made everyone look good but sadly he never got a World Title run. 4. Bam Bam BigelowIn my opinion, he is the best big man ever. Bam Bam was quick, strong, and athletic a unique combo in the world of sports entertainment. Bam Bam Bigelow's match against Bret Hart at King of the Ring is a gem. 3. Rick MartelOne of the most consistent wrestler you will ever find. Had a long successful career and his tag team with Tony Garrea and Tito Santana brought him two WWE Tag Team championships. His gimmick as the model was awesome and he was also one of the best Royal Rumble performer. 2. Curt "Mr. Perfect" HennigCurt Hennig was a wonderful wrestler .Sold like no one else and had four star matches with so many people. It is a shame he never held the World Title. 1.
