When your number one, it shouldn't take you much to have a good show, week after week. You would be suprised how many lackluster RAW's, WWE can produce. This week was different a change. Freshness and unexpected changes happened on RAW. For example,
Dean Ambrose is put into the title picture. After defeating Seth Rollins. This is a huge deal! At Payback, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose can get their wanted revenge on their former Shield brother. Ambrose has been a fan favorite for awhile. So to me this isn't a suprise. I even wrote an article about it at ProWrestlingPowerhouse.com It was about time WWE gave the spotlight to a talent like Ambrose.
Then my next big point was the debut of the mega popular and NXT standout Sami Zayn. Not only does he debùt in his hometown. He also gets introduced by Bret Hart, WWE Hall of Famer and he's facing John Cena in a U.S. Title Open Challenge.
How bigger can a debut get?
I was very impressed by their match. Made Sami look strong while keeping Cena looking like a traditional strong champion.
His opponent at Payback will be floundering to the mid card soon. I had hoped for Rusev but how can you have a Rusev with out a Lana? If Lana turns face? Where does Rusev go? Bulgarian Brute? Weird Animal gimmick? It doesn't look bright... But things look bright for Lana of course.
Well those were my 3 MAJOR RAW thoughts.
*If your into GFW they released a "Ok" roster today. Yes I said "ok". They have great talent for a Women's, Cruiserweight, and a Tag Team Division. They have no big main event stars. No crazy drawing power for now. Rumor that I have reported is that Bill Goldberg will wrestle in GFW. Lately Goldberg has expressed that he wants to wrestle again but not for WWE. So GFW is the most likely option.
Well that's it.
Hope you enjoyed the column
