RAW Preview for July 4th

Triple Z gives a five point preview of Monday Night RAW 

Most of us know that RAW on holidays usually sucks. This RAW in particular looks to be shaping up to be a very wild show. Let's check it out below. 

1. The Miz VS Dean Ambrose: Champion VS Champion

Maybe The Miz is getting rewarded for his outstanding work the last couple of months. Having Maryse at his side really gives him a new edge. Ambrose has only held the title for two weeks yet it feels WWE doesn't care. WWE needs to start building Ambrose up as a champion. This match is a mid-card match. Face it, a couple months ago this would be a mid-card match. Ambrose needs a dominating performance over the IC Champ. It's odd how subtle Ambrose being champion is. Hopefully this week's RAW showcases his feud with Seth Rollins. 

2. Styles VS Cena continues...

John Cena VS AJ Styles has been great. Even though their first match wasn't as good as I expected… the feud seems to be really good. Anderson/Gallows need to find their place on the main roster. Keeping "The Club" together is a good idea but having Cena defeat them might be hard to believe. 

AJ won't win this feud. WWE will not let the former face of TNA beat WWE's top guy. Styles won round one but in round two and three look for different results. Cena will probably fight Luke Gallows on RAW. 

3.Team USA VS Team World

A 16 man tag team match. I really enjoy the concept of this match and it will be interesting to see who is involved. (SPOILER ALERT: TEAM USA IS PROBABLY GOING TO WIN BECAUSE IT'S FOURTH OF JULY. ) Jack Swagger obviously will lead Team USA and Sheamus will probably lead the World Team.

4.Titus O'Neil VS Rusev

Rusev will defend the United States Championship against his rival Titus O'Neil. I'm sure this match will have some sort of America gimmick to it due to the holiday. If Titus hasn't won the title already it doesn't look like he will win it now. This should be a good, physical match though. 

5. WWE Teasing Former GM Will Be On RAW 

First Teddy Long and then came Big Johnny. Which former WWE General Manager will return this week? Who knows but I'm sure it will be good. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Vicki Guerrero so Stephanie McMahon could talk down to her. 


RAW on Independence Day should be interesting and hopefully it will deliver.
